The Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for daily maintenance, upkeep, repair and cleaning of all County-owned buildings. Which includes:

Annex Building Human Service Center
Pittsylvania County Jail Depot Building
Moses Building Farm Service Agency
The Armory Shooting Range
Voter Registration Office Emergency Management
Wayside Park Building Inspections / Zoning
Regional Park Tower Sites
Ringgold Trail Libraries
Ringgold Depot Landfill
Victim Witness Compactor Sites

Setting up Courtroom for 2 Zoning meetings and 2 Board of Supervisors meetings a month    

  

The Department aids in facilities planning, coordinates a county-wide safety program, works with outside contractors, develops and maintains ongoing and long-term facilities maintenance activities and provides a work site for community workers.
