Responsiblities of the Planning Department:
1. Preparation and update of the Comprehensive plan
2. Transportation planning
3. Water Supply and Water Quality planning
4. Long range community development plans including transportation and economic development
5. Planning and implementation of capital improvement projects including economic development sites and utility infrastructure.
6. Prepairing and submitting grant applications for economic development and community development projects.
