The Patriot Voting System
Pittsylvania County has been using the Patriot voting machines since 2005. The Help America Vote Act of 2002 required us to replace the old lever type voting machines. The citizens of Pittsylvania County have found the touchscreen machines easy to use. The Patriot Voting System by Unilect can be viewed here. This demo gives instructions on the use of the machine and is very informative.
You may stop by our office at 110 Old Chatham Elementary Lane in Chatham to try out the touch screen voting machines. We keep one set up in the front office for demonstration purposes. Come by anytime between 8:30AM and 4:30PM Monday thru Friday.
