The main purpose of the program is to assist both crime victims and witnesses through the criminal justice process
and to provide supportive services as needed.

Services provided:
Notification of victims and witnesses of information about the case
Accompanying the victim or witness to and from court
Crime prevention information and assistance
Assistance with filing protective orders and warrants
Assistance with filing for compensation with the Virginia Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund
Crisis referrals
Inform victims and witnesses of their rights as crime victims/witnesses
